At Hawthorn Community Primary School we offer a broad and balanced curriculum which we have designed with the interests of our children at heart.                                                                                                                         

Our curriculum operates on a 2-year rolling programme.  This ensures that children do not repeat a unit of learning due to being in mixed-age classes.  We ensure that concepts and skills (substantive and disciplinary knowledge) are encountered many times in order to help our children know more and remember more.
